Capgemini interview: skills, motivation and technical
· 6 min read
At Capgemini, the interview usually blends an assessment of behavioral skills, a strong focus on motivation and mobility, and — for IT roles — a technical part tailored to the role. Preparing well means covering these three dimensions.
The company hires across many roles and levels; the common thread is looking for reliable, adaptable profiles aligned with a coherent career plan.
Motivation and career plan
Expect questions about your “why Capgemini”, your understanding of the consulting and services business, your mobility and your plan. A thoughtful answer, connecting the company to your goals, makes the difference against generic applications.
Behavioral questions
- “An experience of teamwork or working in project mode.”
- “How do you adapt to a new context or client?”
- “A difficulty you faced and how you overcame it.”
- “How do you handle several tasks in parallel?”
The technical part (IT roles)
Depending on the role (dev, data, cloud, infra…), expect questions on your stack, practical cases or tests. Review the fundamentals of your specialty and be able to explain your technical choices simply.
